take the 3000 ft descent
via the Kukui Trail
to the canyon’s forested floor.

Better be in shape it is steep.

Best go when dry as the river
is prone to flash floods

Spend a week
and follow Waimea River
up into Koaie Canyon
where you will find
deep clear pools
and serenity.
